CIT499 Semester Project Updates
I made a couple of additions to my Yahoo Pipes mashup for my CIT499 project today. I added a feed from a site that we SQL DBA’s find helpful. It’s a feed from mssqltips.com. It gives daily tips for SQL Server DBA’s. My group has Adesa has found this site to be a good resource at times. I thought it would be a good idea to include the feed from this site so that my mashup will contain the daily tips as well. I also included a sort operator within my mashup. The mashup will now display the various feeds etc. in ascending order by publication date. This sort should work out best for my mashup because it will be most useful to view the new items in the mashup first followed by the older items. Therefore, if someone wants to take a quick look at the mashup they will see the most recent items and can search through the older items if they need to find an older posting.
